POLYGALA TENUIFOLIA

ETKİ MEKANİZMASI VE LİTERATÜR

Polygala Tenuifolia Willd. Yuan Zhi olarak da bilinen (Polygalaceae), triterpen saponinler, onjisaponinler ve poligalasaponinler ile zenginleştirildiği bildirilmiş (Jin ve ark. 2014) ve merkezi sinir sistemi üzerinde de koruyucu etkiler göstermekte ve sıklıkla hafıza bozukluğu, uykusuzluk ve nevrasteni tedavisinde kullanılmaktadır (Zhang ve ark. 2016). Polygala Tenuifolia'nın farmakolojik olarak aktif bileşenleri olan poligalasaponin XXXII (PGS 32), tenuifolin, poligalakik asit ve senegenin (tenuigenin) dahil olmak üzere poligalasaponinlerin, anti-β-amiloid (Ab) agregasyon (Jia ve ark. 2004; Park ve ark. 2019), anti-Tau (Xu ve ark. 2012), anti-inflamasyon (Cheong ve ark. 2011 ; Wang ve ark. 2017), antioksidan (Zhang ve ark. 2011), merkezi kolinerjik sistemi güçlendiren anti-nöronal apoptoz (Li ve ark. 2015), nöronal proliferasyonu desteklemesi gibi (Park ve ark. 2008; Zhu ve ark. 2016) Alzheimer Hastalığı ile ilişkili çoklu nöroprotektif potansiyele sahip olduğu gösterilmiştir.
